CloudSigma, New Relic Partner on Real-time Infrastructure Performance Insights
Public cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider CloudSigma today said it has partnered with New Relic, an app performance management and monitoring company, to bring real-time insights into the health and performance of customer applications and server infrastructure.
The partnership gives CloudSigma customers information about end-user, application and server performance from the New Relic dashboard, which is accessible in CloudSigma’s Web console, the company said.
CloudSigma CEO Robert Jenkins told MSPmentor that the company “found New Relic’s features, particularly at the application level, to be compelling and a good fit for a lot of the user questions surrounding performance and cloud optimization that our support teams see.”
“New Relic was also keen to develop their product in a similar direction to our vision of how monitoring meshes with cloud infrastructure,” he said. “Therefore, this became an ideal opportunity for both companies.”
The partnership with New Relic also aims to simplify cloud infrastructure management for customers by focusing on performance.
“Now, customers can proactively identify and remedy performance issues deep within the cloud stack and collaboratively with our support teams identify the root cause of issues either at the cloud infrastructure layer or the customer application layer quickly and effectively in a collaborative manner,” he said.
The public cloud IaaS provider has plans to increase its focus on the channel through “deeper tech integration with our technology partners, using a market place approach and better support for our MSP and SI partners,” Jenkins said.
“Seen from a customer perspective, they will see a lot of appliances available as single click deployments, making it easy to deploy backup solutions, VPN tunnels, stack monitoring and many other offers from leading brand names, without the hassle of complex setup and administration,” he said. “Overall, these partnerships will make CloudSigma’s platform a lot more compelling, which, in turn, will help our channel partners.”
CloudSigma also recently partnered with another company called CompatibleOne to enable CloudSigma partners to become cloud services brokers.
