CentraStage co-founder and CEO Christian Nagele says the number of endpoints is increasing for many organizations. There are more operating systems and models, too.

Cloud-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider CentraStage has added support for Apple (AAPL) iOS and Google (GOOG) Android to the latest version of its RMM platform.

The company said this move aims to further the company’s goal of supporting all devices to address bring your own device (BYOD) challenges and thereby enable managed services providers (MSPs) to manage these devices through a single cloud-based platform.

CentraStage co-founder and CEO Christian Nagele said in a prepared statement that endpoints are increasing in number for many organizaitons, and the range of operating systems and models are also increasing.

“This in turn is driving an increase in the cost of device management, and the risk these devices pose to the business,” he said. “Our latest release presents a solution to this challenge, enabling our customers to cost-effectively manage all of their devices through a scalable SaaS device management platform, reducing both cost and risk.”

In other CentraStage-related news, the company’s cloud-based offering is now available in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
