An alumna of Verizon and AT&T has joined the master agent TBI.

The Chicago-based company announced Monday that Brigid O’Brien is its newest channel sales manager. The position puts her in charge of resources, training, support and marketing tools for TBI agents in the Southwest.

“We are excited to have Brigid join the TBI family,” said Steve Stillson, vice president of sales. “Her industry knowledge and experience will be of great value for our agents in the Southwest.”

O’Brien most recently worked for the Verizon Partner Program as a regional sales manager. She had been working with Verizon since 2004, working in channel sales to both commercial and government customers. She also worked with AT&T’s indirect channel, serving as a national director of partner development and later a sales director for the western region.

“I’m excited to be a part of the TBI team and to further build their partner presence in the Southwest region, O’Brien said. “I look forward to having a direct impact on taking the company to new heights.”

Ryan Schenkel, TBI’s senior director of sales, credited O’Brien’s resume and her “strong focus toward building successful partner relationships.”

“She is positive, energetic and has a wealth of knowledge with many of our key vendor relationships. We look forward to her working with our partners in Southern California with a focus on helping them achieve their goals,” Schenkel said.

O’Brien has worked out of California for much of her career. She got her MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu.

TBI announced a new national channel manager in early April. Kim Rusch is taking care of agents in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.
