PAETEC Channel Names Two to Replace Howe

Following the departure Oct. 22 of Jeff W. Howe, PAETEC will divide responsibility for its indirect sales channel between two executives, according to a company spokesperson.

West Region President Chris Bantoft will spend a greater proportion of his time in the channel, said Dan Smith, PAETEC’s director of corporate communications. Bantoft previously was executive vice president for alternate channels and has continued to provide leadership and executive support to the agent channel since taking on his new role.

In addition, Smith said Dan Harper, vice president/general manager for the West Region, will extend his role to supporting national master agents.

Smith added that Rosie Pottebaum will continue in her role as senior director of channel development for the company.

Last week, Howe, formerly the vice president and general manager for the PAETEC agent, was named president of IP PBX maker Allworx, a subsidiary of PAETEC Holding Corp.
