PAETEC Holding Corp. has named A. John Leach Jr., as senior vice president, alternate channels.

Leach is based in Charlotte, N.C., and is responsible for PAETECs authorized agent sales channel program in the companys South, South Central and Mid-Atlantic regions. He will report to executive vice president Chris Bantoft and will oversee three vice presidents and 22 channel managers who sell into Washington, D.C., and nine states.

He also will be a key member of the Agent Sales national management team, developing policies and procedures to optimize profitable growth and provide top service to PAETECs agent sales force and their customers, the company said.

Leach has more than 20 years of telecommunications and sales experience and most recently was president and CEO of Covista Communications. He also has worked for BellSouth, BTI Communications and Telco Communications Group.
