nGenx Taps IBM, Kaseya Vet as Chief Sales Officer

Cloud-services provider nGenx has a new sales boss with channel-development experience.

nGenx's Max PrugerIt’s Max Pruger, whose past includes a nine-year stint as director of strategic accounts at Kaseya and senior architect at IBM, will be instrumental in defining the company’s long-term growth strategies.

Pruger believes the future is bright for cloud workspaces — notably hosted application and desktop delivery, in which nGenx specializes.

“The technology is bringing new levels of IT flexibility and workspace access to organizations, significantly improving productivity,” said Pruger. “After years of building strong relationships with the most influential IT service providers, I have my sights set on collaborating with current and future nGenx partners to build market share and industry leadership.”

nGenx offers the nFinity nWorkspace platform, which it claims is an asset for ISVs, MSPs and other IT service pros seeking to enhance the customer experience.

“I look forward to bringing these capabilities to a greater number of partners throughout the global channel ecosystem,” Pruger added.

nGenx aims to simplify the process of enabling applications and desktops in the cloud without the need to redevelop existing software solutions. This gives MSPs and software developers unprecedented access to markets and customers previously out of reach, the company said. nGenx delivers an integrated online experience that empowers business applications with a greater number of access points using a full-featured Microsoft Windows desktop. Users benefit from fingertip access to IT resources, anywhere, anytime, and from any device.

The company distributes its services through both an agent channel and a white-label program, giving partners control of everything from pricing, branding and marketing to user-level access via its control panel, a single-pane-of-glass provisioning system.
