Interactive Telecom Solutions (ITS) and AppSense have announced new high-level executive appointments as part of their ongoing growth strategies.

Kevin Errity has been named ITS’ senior vice president of sales and operations. He formerly was with Windstream, where he served as president of the East region.

Errity will be responsible for the leadership of ITS’ sales team, driving business growth and creating customer offerings that add value and maximize market share in targeted segments. ITS is a communications management company.

Prior to the Windstream’s acquisition of PAETEC, Errity played a key role in PAETEC’s growth, serving as president of its East Region and senior vice president, leading sales and operations for various company subsidiaries.

“As a seasoned professional with experience leading sales activities across various industry verticals and geographic territories, we are confident that Errity brings the commercial expertise ITS requires to set us apart from the industry,” said Brett Diamond, a member of the company’s board of directors.

AppSense, a user-environment management firm, named Jed Ayres senior vice president of marketing. He has been serving as chief marketing officer at MCPc.

According to AppSense, Ayres will play a key role in its plan to expand its customer acquisition efforts and accelerate channel growth.

Scott Arnold, AppSense’s CEO, said Ayres “brings the perfect blend of marketing execution, domain expertise and thought leadership. He is a key addition to our executive team and will accelerate our go-to-market efforts, while enhancing AppSense’s partner focus.”

Ayres has more than 20 years of IT sales and marketing experience. Prior to MCPc, he held senior marketing and sales roles at MTM Technologies, MegaPath and Rhythms NetConnections.
