“I am passionate about MSP partners and security,” Gonzalez said. “Huntress was a perfect fit given my experience helping to lead the global SMB MSP go to market at Cisco, and Huntress’ relentless pursuit of providing cybersecurity to the 99%, and their focus on MSPs. Huntress’ stellar reputation with MSP partners played a big part in my decision, in addition to the company culture and outstanding people. As the tip of the spear on this evolving cybersecurity landscape, MSPs need guidance on their security journey. Huntress is leading the way.”

Continued Commitment to Partners, MSPs

Gonzalez said he wants partners to know that he will “continue to be committed to them and the MSP community.”

“They can expect to continue to see me in webinars, in-person at the booth and breakout sessions at industry events, and MSP peer groups,” he said. “I want to continue to build those meaningful relationships and trust.”

His to-do list includes learning from the Huntress team and building out his MSP sales team. He’ll also focus on helping to educate MSP partners on the value of layered security with Huntress being the “critical part of their security stack.” Furthermore, he’ll help MSPs detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents.

“My previous role was a global role,” Gonzalez said. “I worked closely with cross-functional/organizational international teams to build out and execute the MSP strategy in North America, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. I believe I can leverage this experience to benefit Huntress as we look to expand internationally.”
