IT consulting firm BridgePoint Technologies has hired a new salesperson and a new IT consultant.

Tim Allen joins the Oak Brook, Ill.-based channel partner as account executive. He’ll be part of BridgePoint’s IT staffing practice, and comes from roles at companies including Robert Half Technology, Metmox Inc., ABW Technologies and Secure Asset Reporting Services.

Brian Watkins, meantime, comes to BridgePoint from Zurich North America where he worked as a business process analyst and operations manager. He now leads application and software development projects for BridgePoint customers.

BridgePoint runs business units that include IT staffing and business solutions, and managed services.
