Music Meets My Ubuntu
I’m finally spending some time in Rhythmbox, an iTunes-type system that came preinstalled with my Dell Ubuntu PC. Sure, there are lots of options for managing music on Ubuntu. But Rhythmbox seemed like a nice, easy way to get started. And it was.
Right now, I’m listening to Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V), the title track from Pink Floyd’s classic 1975 album. Nice.
I hope to move my entire Pink Floyd collection onto the PC within a few days. (Not by coincidence, I went to see former Floyd band leader Roger Waters in concert a few days back. Awesome.)
So far, Rhythmbox seems like a nice point-n-click solution for my music management needs.
Next up, I’ll try linking Rhythmbox with my iPod. Stay tuned.
