Colosa Partners with OSSCube on Open Source BPM Workflow Solution

Colosa, which develops the ProcessMaker Open Source Process Management (BPM) and Workflow Suite, has announced a channel partnership with OSSCube aimed at integrating Colosa's Business BPM platform into enterprise application software environments.

Through the deal, which the companies announced Aug. 6, OSSCube will offer the ProcessMaker BPM platform to customers as part of its integrated technology solutions. OSSCube specializes in open source products and services, and delivers consulting services; elastic virtual development resources; mobile, web and custom application development; product support and open source training.

For Colosa, the partnership is a way to expand its reach within the channel. According to Brian Reale, Colosa CEO, “By partnering with one of the most well-known and trusted open source solutions providers in the world, we strengthen our partner network and ensure that ProcessMaker can continue to meet our customers’ workflow automation needs.”

The agreement comes on the heels of Colosa’s release of version 2.5 of ProcessMaker back in May. That update brought many enhancements to the workflow platform, including speed improvements and new features including a WYSIWYG HTML editor. The ProcessMaker suite, which Colosa offers in three different tiers with varying levels of support and features, is based on open source tools that Colosa has integrated into a single package with added support.

ProcessMaker is available in 17 languages and has been downloaded 500,000 times, according to Colosa. The OSSCube partnership promises to increase its exposure further, especially among enterprises specifically interested in open source solutions such as the ones OSSCube provides.
