PAETEC PINNACLE Targets Vertical Markets

PAETEC Communications Inc.s PINNACLE software helps users which include the companys target verticals of education, health care, government and finance manage large voice, data and video networks. The platform offers Web portals that users can customize to display the information they need. It performs functions such as capturing and rating all telecom costs, then approving a bill for posting in the general ledger system. The database also updates itself to keep up with changing rates or contracts so companies do not find themselves back at square one. TeleBright Lets Users ManageRight

TeleBright Corp. combines workflow automation with reporting capabilities in one tool named ManageRight. The system provides users with an organization-wide view of telecom assets and expenses. Among its functionalities, ManageRight identifies redundancies and performs expense reconciliation and management. It is especially handy for companies with multiple locations, where often one group handles voice and WLAN duties, while another takes care of data and another oversees wireless, according to TeleBright. NetGain Helps Companies iTEMize Resources

NetGain Communications earlier this year launched iTEMize, its expense management tool for companies spending anywhere from $10,000 and $250,000 per month on telecom products and services. The platform is available as an on-premise or managed solution. It is a subscription-based service that controls assets and addresses billing errors via two modules one that oversees inventory and financial management, and another that lets businesses track wireless and wireline network services and equipment by user, location and department.

Rivermine Provides eXPERT Solutions

Rivermine Softwares eXPERT Solutions for telecom expense management streamline tasks such as network design, procurement, monitoring, contract compliance, optimization, auditing and bill payment. The integrated software lets users create reports and view, manage and control their telecom environments. For example, the Rivermine Finance Manager program allows companies to receive electronic and paper invoices, and perform audits, including validating the line items against the master inventory and contract terms. CTI Group Does TEM in Tandem

CTI Group breaks down TEM into two platforms, one called Proteus, the other named SmartBill. Proteus does expense allocation, call accounting and traffic analysis. Tangoe Offers Communications Management Platform

Tangoe Inc.developed the Communications Management Platform (CMP) to help companies minimize telecom expenses while making the most of their resources and inventory. CMP manages, tracks, audits and plans communi-cations services. The provisioning facet oversees the ordering of telecom services and equipment. The contracts component manages carrier agreements. The billing portion provides oversight of allocations, payment, approval, credits and disputes. The auditing part checks contractual commitments, billing, service levels and more. Finally, the reporting and analysis feature puts data into useful, legible formats.
