New Products, Services: RingCentral, VMware, Cisco, Telco-Cloud Partnerships
Endpoint-focused products and telco-cloud partnerships dominated the news last month.
Vendors continue to bulk up their portfolios organically and inorganically to offer partners the fullest platforms to sell and leverage. For example, Channel Futures observed companies using technology partnerships to establish managed detection and response (MDR) services. IT management software company N-able and IT distributor TD Synnex both brought in MDR/MXDR capabilities to give MSPs and resellers enhanced security options.
In addition, Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress brought the channel plenteous news about mobility and telecom. The world itself couldn’t contain all of the clippings that came out of the conference, but Channel Futures noticed a trend of cloud providers courting telco companies into deeper partnerships.
SD-WAN and SASE also drew media attention last week. Check Point Software Technologies said its new solution put it in the SD-WAN market, and Aryaka Networks announced plans to deepen its global footprint.
