Ende Assembles Telecom-Focused Mediation Firm

By Khali Henderson

Attorneys at Technology Law Group have teamed with other lawyers to form a new venture, Creative ADR Solutions, to provide expert mediation and arbitrations services focused on the telecommunications and technology industries. The company launched Oct. 1.

Creative ADR Solutions mediation and arbitration services are available for telecom/Internet, intellectual property (patents, trademarks and copyrights), antitrust and business transactions.

In most circumstances, the mediators and arbitrators appointed to work on telecommunications and technology matters have little or no experience in those fields,” explained Neil Ende, managing partner for TLG and Creative ADR. As a result, much time is wasted in an effort to bring the mediator or arbitrator up to speed on the substantive issues and, often, opportunities are lost in developing creative solutions.”

To address this gap, Creative ADRs mediators and arbitrators each have at least 15 years of experience in their subject areas. These experts include Ende, Susan Colman, Craig D. Dingwall and Greg Taylor from TLG; Jeffrey Blumenfeld and David Naseman from Crowell & Moring; Todd Juneau of Juneau Partners Patent & Trademark Firm; and Dineen Majcher of Smith & Majcher.

Each lawyer will continue to practice with their current law firm, Ende said, noting that there are comprehensive and rigorous conflict procedures to ensure the absolute independence of all our mediators and arbitrators.”

Mediation and arbitration services are available to clients nationwide. In-person sessions and hearings are held either in Washington D.C., where Creative ADR is located, or at a location of the clients choosing. Mediation services are provided on a daily, flat-rated basis and arbitration services are provided on an hourly basis.
