Craig Schlagbaum, Comcast Business’ vice president of indirect channels, tells Channel Partners that Connection Pro, a business internet add-on, gives the company’s agents and partners “another tool in their toolbag to solve customer problems and to generate new ‘commissionable’ revenue.”

“Comcast solution providers are able to provide their customers with internet speeds up to 1 Gig, plus no data caps on all plans, 24/7 customer support and a 30-day money-back guarantee,” he said. “In addition, the Solution Provider Partner Program gives our partners a competitive edge with award-winning partner support to market and sell Comcast Business services. From demand-generation tools and materials, to pre-sales SE support, our partners have complete support for any customer opportunity they may have.”

In the event of an internet or network disruption, Connection Pro automatically connects to the stronger of two redundant wireless networks, allowing SMBs to power their internet-based business functions – such as point-of-sale systems, back-office connections, email and cloud-based applications – for up to eight hours. It also includes an online portal that allows customers to monitor their service status.

“This new offering fits perfectly within our channel and business strategy,” Schlagbaum said. “It provides our indirect channel with a robust portfolio of solutions for their customers’ need to ensure their business stay connected. It expands our partners’ ability to generate revenue growth. We will provide tools and training to ensure our partners understand the product and the key value propositions it provides.”

Comcast Business was just recognized in the industry’s first Channel Influencer Awardswhich honor the people, technologies, trends and organizations that will shape the new channel in 2018.
