Zscaler Expands Partner Program, Security Platform

Internet security provider Zscaler has expanded its Technology Partner Program, announced in tandem with the release of the company’s Fall 2014 Internet security and compliance platform, which promises to provide new ways to protect end users from security risks.

The latest version of Zscaler’s security platform includes new capabilities for advanced persistent threat protection, guest Wi-Fi security, global administration, policy management and reporting and instant assessment of security risks, according to the company. The platform is expected to help Zscaler’s partner ecosystem to bring together complementary security platforms to protect customers from malicious attacks.

“Today’s enterprises have complex IT environments with a wide variety of hardware and software products from multiple vendors. The task of stitching various products together often falls on the IT organization, increasing operational costs and exposing the organization to additional security risks,” said Punit Minocha, vice president, business development for Zscaler, in a statement. “The Zscaler Technology Partner Program makes it easy to integrate our award-winning Internet security platform with best in class complementary technologies and solutions. By working together, we deliver better, easier to manage security that safeguards the enterprise more effectively than any appliance-based security solution.”

Zscaler has also partnered with several organizations in adjacent technology areas to further improve its security capabilities. The company will continue to partner with networking, identity access management and Big Data analytics providers to grow its partner ecosystem and flesh out its solutions portfolio.
