PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 10, 2019 — Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (booth 859 and a Featured Sponsor) today announced that it has significantly strengthened its team of local resources who are available to support Zayo’s channel partners. The business development team includes approximately 50 individuals, aligned with Zayo’s fiber regions and based in geographically diverse local markets.

The team, which has extensive training, supports all sales channels, including the partner community. They provide strategic direction, lead generation, technical expertise and complex deal support.

Last year, Zayo revamped its indirect channel partner program to improve the value that its partners can deliver to clients. The restructuring included new leadership and a unified partner contract that replaced multiple legacy contracts, the result of many companies that Zayo has acquired.

“Our channel partners provide unique value, with the skills, knowledge and experience to ensure our mutual customers maximize their communications infrastructure,” said Grant Burchfield, vice president of Channel Sales at Zayo. “We continue to strengthen our focus, relationships and resources for the partner community.”

Burchfield said that over the past year, channel partners have been especially effective in selling Zayo’s CloudLink solution, which provides dedicated connectivity to the cloud through Zayo’s protected, high-performance network. “Our focus is to ensure that are partners and customers alike understand the scope and benefits of our entire solutions portfolio,” he said. “Businesses in multiple sectors need the integrated, fully redundant infrastructure solutions that we offer.”
