IntSights, the global threat intelligence firm, on Tuesday launched its new global partner program. The program extends the company’s threat protection suite to enterprises around the world.

It provides three different levels of support. Each level aims to maximize collaboration and drive the best business outcomes for both IntSights and its partners:

  • Tier 1: Strategic partners are national or global partners with strong cybersecurity capabilities. They focus on driving IntSights products and services through resale and/or MSSP business models.

  • Tier 2: Business partners specialize in security with a regional and/or vertical focus.

  • Tier 3: Associate partners have specific customer relationships and can use IntSights technical capabilities either through resale or referral models.

New Approach to Partnerships

Brian Costello is IntSights’ vice president of American sales and global channels. He said this is the first time IntSights has taken a program approach to defining different partnership levels.

“Threat intelligence is a unique and developing market space,” he said. “IntSights needed to create a program that leverages both the large traditional VAR/VAD players while still developing key relationships with focused partners that support specialized services and understand adjacent technologies to maximize our vertical and regional coverage.”

IntSights is looking to expand its relationships with VARs and VADs, Costello said. Those will complement its already growing MSSP partner community, he said.

The company worked with its partners around the world to determine the a top partnership’s most successful qualities, he said. It also asked partners what drives opportunities and revenue.

“We used this input as the foundation of our new program,” Costello said. “We believe it will better position us to leverage the right types of partnerships to enable IntSights to gain market share and scale faster. The customized program approach helps us put investment and resources in areas that accelerate growth and a better competitive position in an increasingly competitive market.”

The IntSights External Threat Protection Suite neutralizes cyberattacks outside the wire. It identifies threats from hackers collaborating in hidden forums and anonymous channels to plan attacks.

“As a longstanding partner with IntSights, we have been transforming our ability to deliver and sustain next-generation cybersecurity operations that is designed to neutralize cyber threat[s] originating from outside our customer’s environment.” said Sheetal Mehta, Wipro SVP and CISO. “The IntSights tailored threat intelligence helps our customer monitor their external digital profile across the clear, deep, and dark web to identify emerging threats and orchestrate proactive response.”
