Telarus will distribute StratusWorX‘s cloud workspace technology.

The companies on Tuesday announced that the Utah-based master agent will function as StratusWorX’s sole technology distributor. The agreement gives Telarus subagents access to a platform that can provision cloud workspaces in a matter of minutes.

Koby Phillips, Telarus’ vice president of business development for cloud, said the new supplier joins a “growing cloud services portfolio.”

“StratusWorX’s agile, next-generation technology includes a hyper-fast self-provisioning platform that helps businesses dramatically increase efficiency and reduce costs through automation,” Phillips said. “Their solutions enable hosting of any software application in the cloud — accessible from any device via a zero-touch, zero delay, continuously secure paradigm. It’s purpose-built for companies that have compute-intensive applications such as AutoCAD and SQL. We are looking forward to a great relationship with StratusWorx and are thrilled that they are exclusive with us.”

The Pleasantonville, California-based vendor offers a platform that combines security, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), desktop as a service (DaaS) and disaster recovery.

“Telarus has a history of innovating and keeping its agent partners ahead of the technology curve, and StratusWorX is excited to be the reliable technology platform partner they’ve been looking for,” said Dan Foster, chief revenue officer for StratusWorX. “With the investments we have made in our platform and infrastructure, combined with Telarus’ investments in cloud engineering, software tools, and in-region partner development managers, we see a true partner that has signaled to the marketplace it wants to be known for solutions that simply and economically transform IT.”

Dan Foster is a former Megapath and Fusion Connect executive who joined the company last year. Alok Sharma and Suman Banerjee founded StratusWorX in 2014 and eventually rebranded it from “Stratus Silver Lining.”

“StratusWorX has assembled a team of industry veterans who know how to serve channel partners and help businesses grow through innovative solutions and transformational change,” Telarus CEO Adam Edwards said. “We are thrilled to offer advanced cloud services like StratusWorX that create real value and differentiation in the marketplace.”
