Remote access provider TeamViewer has launched TeamUp, its newly created global partner program. It promises a range of benefits to its channel partners, which includes resellers, distributors, referral partners, managed service providers and system integrators.

Partners get exclusive discounts, dedicated support and comprehensive sales training along with a broad variety of certifications, the company said. In addition, the program comes with a new, unified partner portal.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“We are always striving to improve collaboration with our channel ecosystem and therefore introduced a new partner program and platform,” Thiele said. “Channel sales is an important part of our strategy, as partners have local expertise and networks that help to amplify our success. We will actively join forces with our partners and direct sales organization to deliver the best experience for our customers.”

Thiele added: “TeamViewer is not a one-product company anymore as it was many, many years ago. We have this huge portfolio in the business platform. I think that is the opportunity for partners. They can start anywhere and then expand the journey.”

Additional Benefits

Key elements of the unified partner portal are a deal-registration engine, a tailored learning portal and a marketing material database. These combine with insights into the current partnership status and the possibility to request benefits directly via the platform.

The new, unified program is available for all TeamViewer partners, independent of the solution they are selling. This includes TeamViewer’s workflow-based productivity solution, Frontline, for the first time. It features three different tiers: business, premium and champion. Each has tailored discounts and benefits such as joint marketing campaigns and access to dedicated resources.

Globally, TeamViewer has more than 625,000 paid subscribers and 2.5 billion devices that “we’re managing in a very scalable, secure way,” Thiele said.

He also wants to give partners the “treasure map” to find new use cases for TeamViewer’s technology, whether it’s augmented reality or IoT.

“If you look at other companies in this remote support space, they don’t have that path, that journey,” he said. “We have those enterprise capabilities.”
