TBI added two technology providers to its stable.

The Chicago-based master agent announced agreements with Imagit Solutions and Everstream Solutions. The providers add expertise in IT professional services and fiber technology, respectively. They additions represent an “aggressive” expansion of TBI’s portfolio, according to Senior Vice President of Operations Mike Onystok.

Imagit provides network engineering services for multisite customers and proactive support for channel partners. The 21-year-old company also hails from Chicago. In addition, Imagit plays complements TBI’s existing vendor stack.

“In additional to this partnership being a perfect logistical and technological fit, culturally TBI and Imagit are mirror images: great people consistently delivering amazing services to large, multisite partners,” Imagit Managing Partner Joe Bedalow said. “TBI partners now have a full turnkey solution with TBI’s catalog of vendors paired up with Imagit’s nationwide (and beyond) on-site network engineering coverage,”

Fiber from Everstream

Everstream provides a business-only fiber route that exceeds 15,000 miles. The route works in six Midwest states and will soon add Pennsylvania. Everstream recently announced the purchase of Unit’s Pennsylvania fiber network and earlier this year bought Detroit-based Rocket Fiber.

Scott Whalen, TBI’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships, said partners will benefit from the new provider.

“Everstream brings an advanced high-speed fiber network with the ability to support all major carriers and connect internet, voice and data – an ideal solution for today’s customers,” Whalen said.

TBI has announced more than a dozen new providers in 2020, including DataBank, Aircall and Consolidated Communications.

Corey Cohen, TBI’s vice president of marketing, predicted in a blog post that many organizations will dedicate 2021 to a more concerted build-out of “cloud-centric” technologies that they quickly adopted this year.

“That means, expect network reconfigurations, IaaS and data center investments,” Cohen wrote.
