Sparxent Acquires Cemaphore
Salt Lake City-based VAR Sparxent has acquired Cemaphore Systems, expanding its portfolio of e-mail and Microsoft Exchange-related services. Sparxent was formed only last year upon its acquisition of NetworkD of Newport Beach, Calif. The VAR also recently acquired Moscow, Russia-based Arbyte Group and Colorado Springs, Colo.-based XAware.
Terms of the Sparxent/Cemaphore deal were not disclosed. Cemaphore CEO Tyrone Pike continues to manage Cemaphore operations and has assumed the post as Sparxent CTO and chief strategy officer.
