ScanSource Enters Agreement With Fujitsu

ScanSource POS & Barcoding, an international value-added distributor of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) and point-of-sale (POS) solutions and services and sales unit of ScanSource Inc. (SCSC), has signed a distribution agreement in North America with Fujitsu America Inc., a provider of IT-based business solutions for the global marketplace. Through this agreement, ScanSource will be offering its reseller customers the Fujitsu TeamPoS family of point-of-sale terminals and peripherals.

Fujitsu TeamPoS terminals enable mission-critical applications, such as loyalty and customer relationship management, while delivering remote manageability and a space-saving footprint.

“Fujitsu has a longstanding reputation as a reliable, high-quality manufacturer and that certainly remains true with their point-of-sale products,” said Jeff Yelton, president, ScanSource POS & Barcoding. “Fujitsu’s products will be available to our reseller customers who are looking for new POS solutions in retail and convenience stores.
