This is the latest update to the Rackspace Partner Program. The company recently announced it has extended its Fanatical Support to include Google Cloud Platform and the newly released Microsoft Azure Stack.

Lisa McLin, Rackspace’s channel sales and alliances vice president for North America, tells Channel Partners that during Partner Day at Solve, “we met with partners one-on-one and learned about ways we can better work together to serve customers.”

“Creating incentives like this was one of the ways we learned we can work better together and create a win-win-win for Rackspace, our partners and customers,” she said. “Our strategy is all about working together to win as we help customers on their cloud transformation journey. We will share additional information on other incentive programs, training and other resources we’re offering to partners as able.”

Partner feedback played a key role in adding the incentives, including feedback from its Partner Advisory Council and from the consultants it has been working with, McLin said.

“Rackspace is the only managed service provider that supports customers on all three major hyperscale public cloud platforms, in addition to our support for all of the leading private cloud platforms and managed hosting services,” she said. “Partners and customers are looking for a trusted, unbiased partner that will help them find the best fit for each of its workloads, on leading infrastructures and technologies. We can help partners provide a consistent, end-to-end service experience and provide these solutions in an integrated fashion, at global scale and in an on-demand manner for customers.”

Rackspace recently announced a new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help streamline the process for customers making the move to AWS.
