PHONE+ magazine, a resource for the telecommunications indirect sales channel, named the Top 15 Channel Managers of 2008 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Boston today.

These telecom professionals were nominated by master agents, subagents and independent agents. The nominees’ names were placed on a ballot and voted on by PHONE+ readers and supporters.

After nearly a thousand votes for 81 candidates, the Top 15 Channel Managers are: Ryan Burke, One Communications; Gerry Cull, US Signal; Denise Decker, ACC Business; Sherrie Hiller, TelePacific Communications; Wayne C. Jackson, Broadview Networks; Tiffany Jensen, Premiere Global Services; Shannon Martin, TMC Communications; Mike McCrosson, BCN Solutions Express; Andrea Powell, AT&T; Michelle Ruyle, Qwest Communications International Inc.; Ashley Scutnik, One Communications; Brian Sheehan, AboveNet Inc.; Eric Solomon, PAETEC; Jim Watts, AT&T; and Rick Womble, ACC Business.

Winners will be profiled in the upcoming 2008 Channel Program Guide special issue due out this fall.

In related news, the Channel Partners Conference & Expo announced it will hold its Fall 2009 show Sept. 23-25, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in South Beach, Fla.
