Pepperdata, a DevOps for big-data company, has launched its new partner program aimed at recognizing qualified partners who have demonstrated expertise in implementing and using its suite of operator and developer applications.

Through the Pepperdata Partner Program, the company will help customers find qualified partners to accelerate the deployment and use of its suite that provides offerings for monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, automated cluster optimization, and improved collaboration between operations and development teams. Partners will have access to extensive resources on the partner portal, along with discounted training, events and wider marketing support to enhance brand awareness and expertise in this area, the company said.

Pepperdata’s Chad Carson

Chad Carson, Papperdata co-founder, tells Channel Partners his company has had strong working relationships and joint customers with distribution vendors like Cloudera, Hortonworks and MapR, but this is the first time it has had a partner program with SIs “who are focused on helping their customers with big data implementations and management.”

“As we’ve been working directly with our own customers, we see solution providers like Cloudwick and Trace3 having a strong presence in the market and helping their customers make sense of the big data landscape,” he said. “It makes perfect sense for us to work even more closely with them so that they can use our product suite to make their customers’ big data deployments successful.”

Program benefits include: in-depth training on Pepperdata technology, use cases and best practices through the company’s training curriculum; opportunities to participate in joint marketing initiatives; and discounted access to its products for learning and development purposes.

“The new program helps our partners solve challenging performance problems for their customers and make their big data implementations successful,” Carson said. “With the new program, our partners can combine their expertise with Pepperdata’s products to diagnose and automatically solve performance problems in their customers’ big-data systems.”

“We joined the Pepperdata Partner Program because we see the need in many of our client engagements to diagnose and automatically solve performance problems in their big data systems,” said Carey Moretti, Trace3’s vice president of data intelligence. “We understand the complexity and challenges in these implementations, and Pepperdata solves the ongoing need for visibility and performance optimization for some of our largest clients.”
