Nokia Siemens, Avion Systems Form Partnership

Nokia Siemens Networks has announced it has signed a VAR agreement with Avion Systems, which joins the company’s Channel Partner Program. Nokia Siemens Networks will work with this partner to offer solutions to meet the needs of a wider customer base, including Tier 3 service providers and vertical customers, such as energy and transportation firms, across North America.

Under the VAR agreement, Avion Systems will offer Nokia Siemens Networks’ wireless solutions, including radio, core and network management solutions, as well as Carrier Ethernet and optical portfolios to customers in the utility and energy and telecommunications space.

“This partnership will create a large number of new opportunities in untapped areas for Nokia Siemens Networks in the region,” said Mike Jurcy, head of value added channels, Nokia Siemens Networks. “Adding high-quality partners such as Avion Systems will enable us to provide the best solutions and service to customers across North America.”
