Nitel just announced an initiative to give partners a “hands-off” marketing experience.

The Chicago-based network services provider launched its Partner Accelerator Program, which offers free marketing support to select partners. The list of benefits include custom email campaigns, branded sales collateral, event co-sponsorship, web copy and newsletter content.

Nitel describes the new initiative as an opportunity for partners that lack marketing resources to supplement their limitations.

“As business owners, many partners sacrifice a comprehensive marketing effort in favor of direct sales or other activities,” said Jason Borkowicz, vice president of marketing, Nitel. “The Partner Accelerator Program provides partners with resources and expertise to carry out a variety of marketing initiatives to help them scale their business.”

Nitel will propose customized marketing programs to partners, spelling out what activities it will perform on behalf of the partner. A Nitel partner marketing manager will then work out the specifics with the partner.

A 2019 Forrester study found that only 12% of partners were using a brand-provided marketing platform.

“We say it should take the partner no longer than 5 minutes per month to execute marketing campaigns; minimizing the effort is crucial to boosting utilization,” one analyst said.

Speaking of marketing, Robin Roberts doled out her expert advice to MSPs at last week’s Channel Partners Evolution.

Channel Partners recently recognized Taylor Castranova, Nitel’s channel chief and SVP of sales and account development, as one of the industry’s 51 top channel chiefs. Nitel last month tasked Stacey Clarke with overseeing its Elite Partner Program.

The company earlier this year added Cisco as an SD-WAN partner.
