AppSmart has enlisted a new resource to help channel partners select vendors.

The B2B marketplace provider on Tuesday announced a partnership with G2.com, which provides verified user reviews of technology providers. G2.com, formerly known as G2 Crowd, dedicates a team to moderating its reviews to ensure objectivity.

Channel partners have been asking for a feature like this “for decades,” according to AppSmart.

“Our clients’ technology stacks are getting increasingly more complex, with thousands of options for recurring services like voice, internet, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, energy, mobility and IoT,” Advoda Technology Solutions CEO Hilary Fox said. “As technology leaders, we embrace every advantage at our disposal to help our clients win. We are thrilled to leverage this new visibility and accountability tool so that we can help our clients complete technology initiatives faster and with more confidence.”

G2 brings more than 1 million reviews of software and services to the table. AppSmart aims to help partners make smarter vendor recommendations for their customers.
