Neustar Security Solutions partners have access to the company’s redesigned partner program, now called the Ultra Secure Partner Program (USPP).

USPP gives Neustar partners enhanced channel access to the company’s range of cloud-based security solutions. They can also sell the company’s globally distributed network and security services. Moreover, partners can now easily curate and grow their cloud security portfolios, Neustar said.

The program provides a clearly defined tiered structure within which its partners can operate, the company said. That ensures clarity on expectations from both parties, with consistent practices, policies and discounts. Now a standardized, tiered program, USPP offers varying benefits and expectations to partners depending upon the commitment made, with benefits increasing in higher tiers.

Catering to Different Partner Types

Jeremy Nicholls is Neustar‘s vice president of global channels.

“Each channel partner is different,” he said. “As such, we identified a need to segment the program to help cater to the different styles, capabilities and focus of both our existing and new partners. With this in mind, we decided to move from a single-tier program to a multi-tier design. In doing so, we have improved the commercial benefits for partners that engage proactively in the cloud security market with Neustar Security Solutions.”

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

Higher levels of partnership have benefits such as higher discounting, qualified sales leads, training and support, account mapping and more. Neustar increased discounts it offers throughout the program to afford leading margins to partners, with rates varying by partner tier and reflective of partner engagement levels.

“Partner input did indeed come into play when we redesigned the program,” Nicholls said. “Crucially, the voice of our partners was instrumental in including specific design elements, including, but not limited to the introduction of a new referral partner element.”

Improved Margin Opportunities

Neustar has improved margin opportunities for its partners to levels its research suggests are market-leading for deal registration-approved deals, NIcholls said.

“This, coupled with the desire to focus on quality rather than quantity in terms of our partnerships, demonstrates how Neustar Security Solutions can give its partners a clear competitive advantage,” he said.

Neustar targets USPP specifically to expand sales and support coverage in the United States, Canada and Europe. Moreover, there are additional opportunities in Latin America and Eastern Europe.

Güngör Gündoğdu is managing director of Inforte, a Turkey-based Neustar partner.

“In this growing landscape, we at Inforte have found a valued partner in Neustar Security Solutions,” he said. “By participating in Neustar’s USPP, our work together is smooth and straightforward, from customer registration through to delivery.”
