NetApp Credits Channel for Revenue Growth
Storage vendor NetApp (NTAP) is reporting it almost doubled entry-level sales and churned out a record performance in its fiscal third quarter, due in large part to the channel. NetApp’s channel accounts for 70 percent of sales.
This uptick in sales has NetApp expecting year-over-year organic revenue growth to increase from 22 percent to 25 percent this year. NetApp President Tom Georgans attributes the rise in channel business to the company’s efforts in low-end product repositioning, a simplified order process and new product bundles.
