Mitel Honors 2012 Top Partners
Mitel Networks Corp. announced its 2012 Channel Award winners at the company’s annual Americas Business Partner Conference last week in San Diego.
Mitel authorizedPARTNERS were recognized for achievements in a range of categories that focused on leadership in application sales growth, customer satisfaction as well as technical expertise in selling, installing and supporting advanced UC solutions.
The UK’s BT won the global award for carrierPARTNER of the year. Winners in the category of overall Business Partner excellence in the Americas included Windstream Communications in the United States, Allstream in Canada and Telmex in Latin America/Caribbean.
These partners earned top honors for outstanding results in revenue and growth, application sales, customer service and quality, marketing efforts and technical expertise.
Mitel also recognized a number of channel partners who invested in a higher level of solution training, competencies and certification in virtualized voice, mobility, contact center and unified communications. In the United States, these included:
- Rookie Partner of the Year: SDN Technologies LLC
- Exclusive Business Partner of the Year: IPro Media Inc.
- Service Provider Partner of the Year: Windstream Communications
- Applications Partner of the Year: Fulton Communications
- Virtualized Voice Specialist Partner of the Year: Expert Technology Associates
- Mobility Specialist Partner of the Year: BluePrint Technologies, Inc.
- Unified Communications Specialist Partner of the Year: SunTel Services
- Contact Center Specialist Partner of the Year: Telcom Innovations Group

The Business Partner awards recognize performance during Mitel’s financial year, which runs May 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012.
