Lucidworks Rolls Out New Global Partner Program

After raising $50 million in a funding round and partnering with Commvault, Lucidworks has launched a global partner program aimed at bringing artificial intelligence (AI) to the world’s top companies.

The new program will allow partners to deliver AI-powered search and data discovery offerings to their customers. It includes training and certification by Lucidworks, plus extensive practice with the Fusion platform from real-world projects aimed at ensuring the “highest-quality implementations for customers across all industries,” according to the company.

Simon Taylor, Lucidworks’s vice president of worldwide channels and alliances, tells Channel Partners this is the first time his company has officially released a reseller program with formal discounts, programs, enablement, deal registration and partner-specific demand generation. In other areas, its “more of a deepening of our commitment, process and capabilities to support our OEM and consulting partners,” he said.

“Since we built and released our platform Fusion several years back, the company has undergone a transformation into product license and integration relative to Fusion solutions,” he said. “With partners asking for next-gen search, machine learning and AI technology, we found a unique opportunity to work with organizations looking to build better enterprise, customer analytics and e-commerce solutions that focus on learning, personalization and recommendation across the whole employee and customer experience.”

By partnering with Lucidworks, technology vendors, SIs and resellers form a global network of specialists that customers “can trust and rely on to bring the power of the … Fusion platform to their applications and solutions,” according to the company.

“We offer three tiers of resell level, Authorized, Gold and Platinum,” Taylor said. “Both Gold and Platinum offer partners access to specific opportunity registration, enablement and demand generation in a much more formal way, including new certifications for engineer and consultant. Additionally, these partner levels can also deliver for both their own customers and as part of our certified consulting network, specific Fusion services. The program also offers more incentivized ways for partners to continually develop their business based on new recurring and renewal subscription based on a logical progression of different projects that customers typically compound from their use of Fusion.”

The program also includes OEM partners looking to create their own solutions with embedded Lucidworks technology on a broader SaaS basis or as part of a managed service cloud platform. Additionally, consulting partners who are already a company’s preferred integration vendor can generate new revenue as SIs and trusted advisors.

“At Onix, customers have always come first,” said Tim Needles, president and CEO of Onix, a current Lucidworks partner. “We look forward to the new partner program and how it further enhances our collaboration, so we can continue elevating our customers to the next level of enterprise search, relevancy and productivity.”
