HP ProCurve Augments Partner Roster
HP (HPQ) has announced the addition of a number of new partners to its HP ProCurve ONE (Open Network Ecosystem) program. New vendor partners include Aastra, AeroScout, Avaya, F5, Fortinet, SonicWall, Sourcefire and vantronix. Additionally, two network security providers, StillSecure and Traversa Solutions, have joined the program.
ProCurve management feels this approach – teaming with strategic partners interested in working with its open standards-based infrastructure – will help it better position itself against networking giants like Cisco.
