CryptoStopper, the ransomware protection provider, has hired GetChanneled to launch a new partner program for MSPs.

GetChanneled is an IT services channel consultancy. Ted Roller, its CEO, will fulfill the role of CryptoStopper’s channel chief. He’ll work closely with the CryptoStopper management team to strengthen and grow their partner programs and alliances.

In addition, Roller will help build out CryptStopper’s product road map.

“We created a point solution that prevents the potential damage associated with ransomware,” he said. “CryptoStopper is going to market solely through the SMB channel partner community and our goal is to create peace of mind from the threat of ransomware for MSPs and their clients.”

CryptStopper’s solution solution works in conjunction and networks with other security platforms, Roller said. That provides “even greater protection against ransomware for the SMB customers.”

Long History of Channel Leadership

Before GetChanneled, Roller was Mailprotector’s channel chief. He also was vice president of channel development at Intronis and LogMeIn.

The GetChanneled team will help forge deeper engagements with the IT services community. That will extend CryptoStopper’s reach and industry focus.

“One of our team’s major goals is to empower MSPs with our groundbreaking technology for detecting and neutralizing ransomware attacks,” said Greg Edwards, CryptoStopper’s CEO. “Ted Roller and the GetChanneled team have a stellar reputation for helping companies like CryptoStopper build strong channel sales and support programs. We’re excited to have them on board.”

GetChanneled’s services include channel readiness evaluation, virtual channel chief, content marketing and social promotion.

“We are overjoyed to have someone with Ted’s record of channel success helping to guide us in our efforts to enhance our products and programs,” said Kevin Torner, CryptoStopper’s president. “While we have a revolutionary ransomware suppression offering and flourishing MSP community, our team is committed to improving all areas of our business and opportunities for our channel partners.”
