DomainTools partners now have access to a new global partner program for VARs, MSSPs and more.

The program features the company’s threat intelligence solutions. It provides channel partners with the tools needed to help enterprise security teams detect emerging threats and attackers lurking in their networks.

The program will expand existing channel relationships as well as build new partnerships globally. It offers a wide range of benefits to channel partners. Those include margin structure for new and renewal business, access to training, online deal registration and joint promotional programs.

Tim Durant is DomainTools‘ vice president of global channels and alliances.

“We have been working with channel partners for several years,” he said. “This is a new partner program that will give us a foundation to expand our partner relationships even further.”

Channel, Partners ‘Big Drivers’ of Growth

Going into 2022, DomainTools knew that the channel and partners were going to be one of the big drivers of growth, Durant said.

“The company understood that they needed to invest in this area of growth,” he said. “That investment started with the creation of the vice president of global channel and alliances role, and hiring me,” he said. “One of my first directions was to build out a partner program and direct investment into launching a partner portal.”

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

Durant spent time speaking with partners in Europe, APAC and the Americas to solicit feedback on what was most important in a partner program. Partners also helped identify some of the key minimum requirements needed for launching the new partner portal.

The new program makes it easier for partners to work with DomainTools in two ways, he said.

“One, the program itself is purposely very simple based on an easy-to-understand discounting structure and requirements identified to maintain status in the program,” Durant said. “Second, as part of the program, we launched a partner portal, which gives our reseller partners access to content, learning and new opportunity registration. This makes it much easier for partners to not only be more self-sufficient, but also have stronger ties to DomainTools with additional ways to interact and track their business with us.”

DomainTools Increasing Channel Investment

Phil Higgins is CEO of Brookcourt Solutions, a U.K.-based IT services provider.

“Having worked with DomainTools since 2019, it’s great to see them bolster their commitment and investment into their channel business and partnerships like ours,” he said  “The data and products from DomainTools have allowed us to meaningfully enhance the security postures of dozens of firms. We look forward to building many further opportunities with DomainTools as a trusted partner.”
