Bot detection and mitigation specialist Distil Networks launched its inaugural global channel partner program on Tuesday to help resellers discover attackers and prevent tampering within their websites and web-based applications.

The program, which includes partnerships with security solution providers Optiv, Onistec and CIPHER, is expected to help Distil significantly increase its channel sales within the next year, according to the announcement.

For those unfamiliar with the company’s solution set, Distil’s portfolio is focused on offering solutions to detect and defend against bot attacks capable of stealing personal information, creating spam and hijacking accounts. Distil monitors web requests and builds a signature of all incoming connections so companies can detect and block attacks. So far, the company claims to have blocked more than 100 billion bad bots.

Like the many channel programs it is modeled after, Distil’s reseller program includes several standard benefits, including support from dedicated channel sales professionals and deal registration opportunities. Partners can get additional help from dedicated sales engineers or utilize Distil’s post sales integration and service delivery teams for additional support. Finally, Distil is offering enterprise service level agreements and 24/7 year-round support for all members of the program.

The company’s offerings are available either as a Cloud CDN or appliance.

“Our mission is to extend the reach of our technology through a network of loyal channel partners,” said Rob Rodier, director of Channel Sales for Distil Networks, in a statement. “Distil Networks is dedicated to providing channel partners with unparalleled sales, service and support resources to ensure that organizations will have a superb experience working with our team.”
