Datto, Dropbox Join New BitTitan ISV Marketplace

It will create a marketplace for ISVs to develop managed services and provide them to partners in a clearly explained manner.

MICROSOFT INSPIRE — BitTitan, the provider of managed services automation, has announced a new program for independent software vendors (ISVs) to directly share operating procedures and products with partners.

The MSPComplete Publisher Program creates a marketplace where ISVs can develop managed services based on popular offerings and provide them to partners in a clearly explained manner, the company said.

BitTitan CEO Geeman Yip says the program will “ensure standardized, repeatable managed services delivery for their partners.”

“Nearly all our partners described the same problem — the lack of standardization throughout their business hurt customer satisfaction, profitability and employee morale,” Yip said. “This problem stems from lack of documentation; either partners never wrote their processes down or when they did, stored them in PDF documents no one ever referenced and rarely updated. ISVs experience the same challenge. It takes them a significant amount of time to get new partners selling successfully with the traditional enablement methods like webinars and PDF manuals.”

Companies in the program can freely access the 50,000-plus BitTitan partners. Dropbox and Datto are among the early members.

“The introduction of the MSPComplete Publisher Program does exactly that for managed service providers by bringing products, content and execution closer together,” said Matt Pahnke, global head of partner marketing for Dropbox. “We’re happy to be a launch partner in the MSPComplete marketplace, which will deliver simplicity and value for BitTitan and Dropbox partners, to better serve their customers.”

Matt Richards, Datto vice president of product marketing, says the program will move his company past using PDFs and “unread manuals” to explain the onboarding process for its solutions.

“We can publish these guides as step-by-step, readily consumable and interactive instructions for our ecosystem. We can easily maintain the guides, and even update them as Microsoft or Google evolve their APIs,” Richards said.

BitTitan made the announcement at Microsoft Inspire, where Microsoft has already laid out new products and strategies for its partners.
