Global LTE and 5G wireless network solutions provider Cradlepoint will expand its current offerings for MSPs as part of the company’s existing partner program.

Cradlepoint unveiled these substantial updates for managed service providers this week at the North American Partner Summit in Austin, Texas. They include enhancing NetCloud functionality and licensing benefits, specialized support and the development of an “MSP Playbook.”

“5G is an essential WAN infrastructure, and we are seeing firsthand how our partners are leveraging the technology to enable agile and secure connectivity for their customers while creating new market opportunities for their own business,” Puopolo said. “As our channel program has grown globally, we have listened and worked with our partners to evolve and enhance our programs, including this very important step of supporting their managed service offerings.”

A Rapidly Growing Market

Expect one-half of enterprise wireless endpoints to use networking services by 2025, say Gartner researchers. And these deliver additional capabilities beyond communication. Cradelpoint says this rapidly growing market underscores a significant opportunity for the company and its partners in wireless WAN. In particular, MSPs use Cradlepoint’s NetCloud service and portfolio of fixed sites, mobile and IoT cellular routers.

Meantime, Cradlepoint is introducing a new flexible subscription model. This will allow MSPs to control their customer life cycle and bolster profitability. They will reward partners for their performance and loyalty through lead-generation capabilities.

Specific new enhancements include everything from an MSP-only subscription model and price list to upcoming NetCloud Manager enhancements exclusively for MSPs.

In addition, Cradlepoint will develop an “MSP Playbook,” which it plans to launch later this year. The Playbook aims to support MSPs further as they work with Cradlepoint to create and deliver managed networking and cloud-based services.
