CornerStone Telephone Company announced Thursday an agreement with Verizon Global Wholesale to provide cloud-computing services to CornerStones business customers. Cornerstone said the services will be made available for sale through its agent channel in third quarter.

Under the agreement with Verizon, CornerStone will resell Enterprise Cloud from Terremark, Verizon’s IT services subsidiary. The service, to be sold under CornerStones SkySphere brand, is a Web-based service that provides a self-managed dedicated pool of computing resources and is supported by data centers in North America, Latin America and Europe.

CornerStone Telephone Company is an integrated communications provider specializing in services for business and enterprise customers in New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

A spokesperson for Cornerstone said sales agents would earn recurring compensation on sales of the cloud service. In addition, sales and certification training will be offered through Verizon.
