Channel Program Roundup: Dimension Data, dinCloud, Netwrix

Howdy, pardners, and welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly exercise of gathering partner program-related news. This week the roundup includes Dimension Data, dinCloud and Netwrix, so mount your saddle and let’s get ridin’.

Dimension Data: The global IT services provider received a whopping 28 Cisco Partner Summit awards at the vendor’s annual channel confab in June.

Dimension Data received 21 awards in the EMEA region, including six Africa awards and 15 in Europe. The Americas region won two awards: Architectural Excellence – Borderless Networks in the United States and Enterprise Partner for the Americas in Latin America. The Asia Pac/Japan region was awarded Enterprise Partner of the Year; and Australia took two awards, while India was awarded Partner of the Year and Collaboration Partner of the Year.

dinCloud: Speaking of partner awards, the cloud services provider was recently selected as a finalist in the 2013 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, awarded this week at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

dinCloud was the only U.S. partner to be recognized as a finalist in the Cloud Partner of the Year – Small and Medium Business (SMB) award category.

“In general, SMBs face business challenges including high demand for keeping the lights on, too many pain points with having to deploy, maintain, and manage their PC fleet in-house, and expensive to maintain, aging IT infrastructure,” said Kevin Schatzle, CEO, dinCloud. “Utilizing Microsoft products helps us to reduce our customers’ overall technology spend, increase their flexibility, scalability, and user efficiency, while helping them manage their IT operations. We are excited to be named the North American finalist for Microsoft’s Cloud Partner of the Year in SMB.”

Netwrix: The configuration auditing software company has joined the ranks of the channel-focused and switched to a 100 percent channel sales model (yay!). To help facilitate this change, Netwrix has signed tapped Synnex as its initial distributor for the full line of Netwrix Auditor software in North America and launched a Partner Portal on its website.

“As the leading vendor in configuration auditing software, we feel there is demand from the channel for new offerings in the configuration auditing space that is not currently being met by other vendors,” said Shawn Murphy, vice president of sales, Netwrix. “We anticipate that the channel will quickly join our partner program and leverage Netwrix Auditor to increase sales into their existing customer base as well as to help acquire new customers.”

And that’s this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup. Mosey on back next week and see what we’ve got in our corral. Until then, stay safe.
