Channel Program Roundup: Adtran, AVG Technologies, SalesFUSION

Greetings, and welcome to the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of channel doings you need to know about. This week we’re rounding up news from Adtran (ADTN), AVG Technologies (AVG) and SalesFUSION, so straighten your bandana, grab your fancy hat and let’s get going.

Adtran: The networking technology vendor has been named the Gold Stevie Award winner at the 2013 International Business Awards within the category “Best New Product or Service of the Year – Telecommunications Hardware” for its NetVanta and Total Access solutions with eSBC functionality. Judged by a worldwide panel of more than 250 participating executives, the Stevie Awards honor the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working people worldwide.

Adtran’s award was achieved for its NetVanta and market-leading Total Access suite of solutions with eSBC functionality, developed to address service providers’ need for a new demarcation device to handle security and monitoring for SIP trunking services. The eSBC software provides an alternative to dedicated SBC devices, allowing service providers to simplify and cost-reduce managed and hosted VoIP and unified communications solutions for small and medium enterprises with a high performance multi-function platform.

AVG Technologies: The provider of Internet and mobile security, privacy and optimization solutions has been awarded the ASCII Cup  for its AVG Managed Workplace by the ASCII Group, a membership-based community of independent MSPs, VARs and solution providers. The award was presented at this year’s ASCII Success Summit, held Sept. 18-19 in Austin, Texas.

In addition, AVG’s CloudCare offering was named “Best Cloud Solution” by ASCII Austin.

Each year the ASCII Cup is conferred on a company that has demonstrated outstanding channel goodwill and a commitment to fostering business growth among ASCII’s membership.

“To walk away with one award is a tremendous honor, to receive one for  each of  our complementary tools makes it a doubly proud moment for us,” said Luke Walling, vice president, Sales & Operations, SMB, North America at AVG.

SalesFUSION: SalesFUSION has unveiled a new partner program that will reward its top-performing VARs and consulting partners with what it calls “an industry-best share of revenue on recurring fees from new-client engagements.”

The SalesFUSION Partner Program includes training to and support of partners on the SalesFUSION cloud marketing automation solution.

By partnering with SalesFUSION, channel companies can offer customer a complete cloud marketing automation solution, including pre-built connectors to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SugarCRM, Salesforce.com, Sage CRM and Saleslogix. According to the company, these integrations fuel deeper sales and marketing alignment, and vastly improve the CRM experience for B2B organizations.

Going forward, all SalesFUSION partners will have access to a refreshed online partner resource center, as well as opportunities to participate in co-branded demand generation activities with SalesFUSION. SalesFUSION has also implemented a complete partner on-boarding initiative focused on CRM/marketing automation software best practices, and tools for developing a services practice based on key business processes, such as lead scoring and lead management.

And that’s the roundup for this week. Mosey on back next week to see what’s in our corral. Until then, stay safe.
