Channel Partner Program Roundup: Year-End Edition, Part Two
It’s Friday, and as promised, welcome to the second and final installment of the year-end edition of the Channel Partner Program Roundup. Just like part one, we’re cleaning the corrals and including anything that has yet to be featured in the roundup. So hold on tight, ‘cause here we go.
Lumeta: The network management vendor has joined the Tripwire Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) Program. Through the TAP program, the two companies will engage in technology development through the use of common APIs and custom development efforts to create a joint solution. The partnership will integrate Lumeta’s IPsonar product suite for network discovery with Tripwire IP360, a vulnerability management solution, to enable bidirectional, synchronous information exchange for improved protection and reduced support overhead.
Under the terms of the Alliance partnership, Lumeta and Tripwire will also team with shared channel partners and systems integrators to deliver enhanced risk management protection in select customer accounts.
Applied Global Technologies: The managed and cloud videoconferencing provider announced a partnership with ECOTECH Solutions Group, a provider of UC, voice, video and data applications. Through the partnership, ECOTECH will use AGT’s Video-as-a-Service platform to add cloud-based video services to its existing portfolio. The new videoconferencing service, named Ecoprezens, connects standard high-definition conference room systems with a variety of desktops, web browsers, tablets and smartphones. Ecoprezens will showcase the company’s brand identity and will be available in the form of a desktop video client, web browser client and mobile video application.
Citrix: OneNeck IT Services, provider of hosting and application management services, has been named a Diamond-Validated Citrix Service Provider (CSP) partner. This designation is a premier level partnership and only accessible to the highest Citrix performing partners.
As a Citrix Diamond-Validated service provider, OneNeck is recognized for having Citrix Certified Integration Architects on staff. To reach this designation, partners must demonstrate validation of end users experience, pass a live audit, retain Citrix certifications, and maintain the highest quality standards.
Consuro Managed Technology: The managed services provider was named a winner in Dell’s PartnerDirect channel program Partner of the Year Awards for Dell’s fiscal year 2014.
Consuro earned the Dell Social Media Partner of the Year award, which honors a Dell partner for their ability to leverage social media for their own business initiatives, while also collaborating and engaging with Dell via social platforms to promote Dell solutions. This is the first year Dell has given the Social Media Partner of the Year award.
Consuro was evaluated for this award based on their engagement with Dell PartnerDirect in social media, including their innovative approach to, and uptake of campaigns and their completion of Dell PartnerDirect social media training.
Carousel Industries: The managed services, video solutions, data and visual communications provider has hired Bill Thompson as vice president of Video Services. Thompson joins Carousel from BT Conferencing where, for the last five years, he served as global head of Video Operations, responsible for operations, strategic development and business leadership across BT’s entire video portfolio.
Embarcadero Technologies: The provider of software solutions for application and database development has named TechXtend a Master Reseller for Embarcadero’s software development solutions. This enhanced partnership extends an existing 10-year relationship between the two companies.
Formerly known as Programmer’s Paradise, TechXtend has sold the Embarcadero application development tools to its customers, beginning with Borland and then CodeGear, continuing after that company was acquired by Embarcadero. Under the terms of the new agreement, TechXtend will expand Embarcadero’s market reach and distribute its extensive portfolio of application development solutions, including RAD Studio XE5, Delphi XE5, C++Builder XE5 and InterBase XE3, to its North America network.
And that wraps up the Channel Partner Program Roundup for 2013. Check back in the new year for the latest in channel partner news. Until then, stay safe, compadres.
