By Chris

Howdy folks, and welcome back to Channel Partner Program Roundup. This week we’ve got some hot developments from NTT Com and Affirmed Networks.

NTT Com: NTT Com, the information and communications technology division of NTT Group (NTT), has made its portfolio of cloud infrastructure solutions available to Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) customers. The deal consists of a partnership between HPE and NTT Americas, and will allow customers in the United States to buy NTT Com’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions, in addition to NTT America professional services, according to the announcement.

The cloud solutions, which are being aimed at medium and large enterprises in the United States, are powered by HPE technology and delivered over NTT Com’s infrastructure. The solutions are available immediately though the HPE Partner Ready Program for Service Providers.

“This new partnership deepens our long-standing relationship with HPE, and allows us to combine our strengths to unlock hidden value, unleash innovation, ignite sales growth and capture opportunities in key customer segments and markets,” said Jeffrey Bannister, executive vice president of Global Enterprise Services at NTT America, in a statement. “As one of HPE’s few global IaaS partners, we will deliver outcomes-driven cloud solutions based on integration of best of breed technologies within our infrastructure to help our joint customers stay one step ahead of their competition.”

Affirmed Networks: Virtualized mobile network provider Affirmed Networks has been selected by Canadian telecom provider Telus to support the delivery of their Internet of Things (IoT) service offerings.

Affirmed Networks will use its Mobile Content Cloud solution to help Telus scale its network to meet increasing IoT workload demands, according to the announcement.

“IoT represents a tremendous opportunity for Canadian businesses and Telus is committed to providing our customers with innovative solutions that enhance their productivity and profitability,” said Telus’ CTO Ibrahim Gedeon. “After extensive testing we selected Affirmed Networks to help us ensure we provide an exceptional network experience for our customers’ IoT solutions.”
