Channel Partner Program Roundup: JobFLEX, Dimension Data

It's Thursday, and that means we’re serving up a hot new edition of the Channel Partner Program Roundup, where we gather the most interesting channel partner news from around the World Wide Web. This week, check out the latest news from JobFLEX and Dimension Data. Happy reading!

JobFLEX: Mobile estimating software provider JobFLEX announced its national Partner Program this week, which will allow VARs, resellers and consultants to resell the company’s cloud-based quote and estimating software and mobile app. All qualifying JobFLEX applicants will also receive $2,200 in licenses for the JobFLEX system through October.

“When we developed JobFLEX, our priority was to reduce the time sales pros have to spend stuck in the office dealing with paperwork so they can be out in the field doing what they do best—serving their customers and closing more sales,” said Kim Phillipi, CEO of JobFLEX, in a statement. “Our partner program was developed with a similar priority: to reduce the time it takes to start selling and provide the resources to sell effectively.”

JobFLEX is offering a suite of standard partner program features, including lead distribution opportunities, deal registration and free technical support for its partners. New ecosystem members will begin at the company’s middle tier for increased sales margins and will also have access to free product and market training. The company is currently accepting applications for new partners on its website.

Dimension Data: ICT services and solutions provider Dimension Data announced that the company’s Global Business Development director, Rich Schofield, has been named to CompTIA’s Partner Advisory Council. In his new role, Schofield will work with other CompTIA advisers to provide strategic, near-term insights on issues and trends affecting the IT channel, according to the company.

“Our Partner Advisory Council includes a diverse group of executives, each with their own expertise, knowledge and perspective on the challenges and issues facing the IT channel,” said Annette Taber, CompTIA’s vice president of Channel Strategies, in a press release. “This level of diversity ensures that the recommendations and solutions the council proposes will be relevant for all channel companies—vendors, distributors and solution providers alike. The addition of Rich Schofield will bring great value to our members and the IT channel community, based on his proven experience and deep expertise.”

Schofield joined Dimension Data in 2000 after the company acquired DataComm Systems, where Schofield had served since 1987, according to the release. During his tenure at Dimension Data, Schofield has also served as director of business development for the company’s North American and global managed services businesses, and is a member of the company’s Hall of Fame for outstanding employees.

With another edition of the Roundup in the bag, we’ll happily send you off to plan for your weekend and to enjoy the summer while it lasts. Thanks for reading, and stay safe.
