Channel Partner Program Roundup: GE, ScienceLogic, itopia

Howdy, y’all! Welcome back to Channel Partner Program Roundup, where this week we’re featuring the latest news from General Electric (GE), ScienceLogic and itopia.

GE: General Electric launched the GE Digital Alliance Program this week, which the company said will provide its reseller and ISV ecosystem partners with access to the company’s “technology and digital industrial expertise.” The alliance will also allow partners to receive training and certification for developers as well as allow them to develop apps using GE’s Predix cloud platform, according to the announcement.

A host of standard partner program benefits will also be available, including training and technical support, marketing material and certification, GE said. Additionally, GE is working with companies including Deloitte Digital, Infosys, IBM and TCS, among others as part of the alliance program.

“With the launch of the GE Digital Alliance Program, we are providing these alliance members with expanded access to GE Digital tools, technologies and domain expertise,” said Denzil Samuels, head of Global Channels and Alliances, GE Digital. “The new alliance program is also designed to take us to the size and scale required to truly drive unprecedented growth, as well as certifying thousands of developers, implementers and consultants to give us the largest ecosystem of qualified technical capacity.

ScienceLogic: Hybrid IT monitoring software provider ScienceLogic launched its new channel program, called ChannelLogic, the company announced on Wednesday.

“We are very excited about launching ChannelLogic and enabling our partners to share in our growth.  Our success has been driven by growth in the network, data center and most of all in the number and size of hybrid clouds,” said Dave Link, Co-Founder and CEO at ScienceLogic.  “With payback in as little as 6 months, we believe our value added partners will find a relationship with ScienceLogic beneficial both for themselves and their customers.”

An assortment of standard partner program features are available to resellers, including market development fund allocation and sales tools, as well as webinar and training access. Deal registration opportunities are also available, according to the announcement.

itopia: IT service provider itopia recently announced the availability of its channel-exclusive Cielo Suite of cloud services, which is designated to allow resellers to offer workspace as a service (WaaS) to end users.

The Cielo Suite is currently only available to itopia’s U.S. channel partners, according to the announcement. Channel partners can also private label the WaaS platform for customization.

“Our new user friendly Cielo Suite gives channel partners the flexibility and control to move their clients’ on premises applications, infrastructure and workspaces to whatever cloud infrastructure they choose – whether it’s public, private or a combination of the two,” said Scott Markley, senior vice president of sales at Itopia. “Tailor-made for service providers, the Cielo Suite is the only true end-to-end WaaS solution on the market.”

That’s all for this week folks. Enjoy the rest of your week and stay safe out there.
