Druva: Endpoint data protection and governance platform provider announced the appointment of Steve McChesney as vice president of Business Development, a new role for the company. He will focus on broadening Druva’s global distribution channels to facilitate inSync deployments for enterprises seeking a unified solution for safeguarding corporate data across desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
McChesney has 25 years in the technology sector, including eight in channel management and sales at F5 Networks. He joined F5 Networks in 2004 to develop their company’s channel program, helping to orchestrate a tenfold increase in channel sales while also increasing sales through the channel to more than 90 percent of revenue. He was promoted to vice president of Channel Sales, Americas, in 2010.
McChesney also held senior sales and business development positions at Adara Networks, Venture2.com, Photozone.com and Visio Corp. He holds a BA in Business Communications and Advertising from the University of Washington.
Condusiv: The high-performance software optimizing technology, people and businesses has named Canadian channel veteran, Ian A.G. Vaudry, as Country Manager, Canada.
Vaudry joins Condusiv with more than 25 years of experience in the channel with leading vendors including Hewlett-Packard and Compaq, specializing in professional sales, channel development and business management, as well as leadership positions with several Canadian VARs.
Spanning: The provider of SaaS data protection solutions has made its flagship product, Spanning Backup for Google Apps, available through the EMC Select Partner Program. The move extends Spanning Backup’s reach as an enterprise-level solution.
"Protecting SaaS applications from potential data loss is an absolute necessity as more organizations put their business critical data in the cloud. Participation in the EMC Select Partner Program allows us to extend our market reach with a stronger focus on enterprise customers,” said Jeff Erramouspe, chief revenue officer, Spanning.
In March, Spanning joined forces with EMC in a comprehensive co-marketing agreement that includes co-promoting Spanning and EMC’s Mozy technology to offer businesses new data backup and recovery solutions.
