Channel Partner Program Roundup: CORE, Polycom, Dell

Welcome to the Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of all things channel partner program-related. This week we’ve got news from CORE Security, Polycom (PLCM) and Dell, so saddle up and let’s hit the happy trails.

CORE Security: The provider of predictive security intelligence solutions, announced the addition of Intrinium to its CORE Secured partner program. Intrinium, based in Spokane, Wash., services companies in the financial, healthcare, social service and retail industries. The partnership adds CORE Insight and CORE Impact Pro to Intrinium’s offerings, and expands CORE Security’s ability to expand into the Pacific Northwest market.

“It’s great to add Intrinium to our CORE Secured partner program, we are excited to expand our access to the markets they serve in the greater Pacific Northwest region,” said Joseph Schramm, director strategic alliances, CORE Security. “We have already started our business development activities, and there is some good momentum behind our combined offerings. We will continue to work together to deliver predictive security intelligence solutions that this important market demands.”

Polycom: The unified communications vendor has expanded its partnership with Crestron to market and resell the Crestron RL system. Polycom will sell Crestron RL through its channel and promote the system’s ability to natively integrate with Crestron systems.

The agreement between both companies is designed to combine the strengths of each company’s technology, service, and support into a comprehensive group video, voice and room collaboration solution optimized for use with Microsoft Lync 2013, the companies noted.

The first bundled, room-based collaboration system from this expanded partnership is scheduled to be available in Q1 2014.

Dell: Enterprise mobile content management vendor Seismic has become a certified technology partner in Dell's Technology Partner Program.

According to the company, customers can leverage Seismic on Dell tablets to "create and manage content that links to all enterprise data sources, making sales more effective and marketing more efficient."

As a certified Dell technology partner, Seismic can now deliver a combined solution that can be rapidly adopted by organizations to generate complex reports and collateral, such as presentations and videos, using their Dell devices.

"Working closely with Dell as a certified partner will allow us to empower organizations with an even greater client and prospect experience through new levels of flexibility and ease of use," said Doug Winter, CEO and co-founder of Seismic. "By combining Seismic's content management software with Dell's industry-leading tablet hardware offerings, we are enabling customers to easily create customized, compliant business materials that resonate with clients and improve relationships."

And that’s the Channel Partner Program Roundup for this week. Check back this time next week to see what’s going on with the channel partner programs we all know and love. Until then, stay safe.
