Channel Partner Program Roundup: BroadSoft, Condusiv, Avira

Howdy, amigos, and welcome to this week’s Channel Partner Program Roundup, our weekly collection of news and notes on the channel partner space. This week we’ve got a passel of news from BroadSoft (BSFT), Condusiv Technologies and Avira, so saddle up and let’s ride.

BroadSoft: Jeffrey Pearl has joined the company as vice president, Carrier Sales, North America. He has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in building and managing high performance sales organizations.

In 2006, Pearl co-founded IP5280 Communications, a cloud-based IP communications provider focused on converged IP voice, video and data services. After IP5280 was acquired by MegaPath in 2012, Pearl was named senior vice president of Sales and led MegaPath's refocused effort on VoIP and other cloud-based services.

Pearl also co-founded LineSider Communications in 2004, a firm that specialized in secure VoIP communications, which was subsequently acquired by Cisco Systems (CSCO) following his departure. Pearl had also previously served as CEO and executive vice president of Sales and Marketing for ICG Communications, where he successfully helped execute the 2004 sale of the publicly traded company. He has also held senior roles at Qwest Communications, Frontier Communications and WorldCom.

Condusiv: En Pointe Technologies has been elevated to Condusiv’s Premier Partner Program. As one of the largest Microsoft (MSFT) systems integrators and licensing solutions providers, En Pointe specializes in Microsoft technology, providing hardware, software and services to enterprise, government and education organizations nationwide.

The Condusiv/En Pointe alliance creates a portfolio of high performance optimization solutions and infrastructure services focused on midmarket and enterprise customers anchored to the Microsoft ecosystem. En Pointe will feature the full Condusiv Technologies suite, including the V-locity VM, V-locity Server, Diskeeper and Undelete product lines.

Avira: The security vendor has launched a channel program in North America, offering low, fixed cost on Avira’s antivirus software.

Avira’s channel program features two levels with the following benefits:

  • Smart Partner — Highlights include ‘smart margins,’ 24/7 technical support, evaluation licenses, access to PartnerNet and Partner Academy, free online trainings, generous payment terms and a partner listing on the Avira website.

  • Uber Partner — Highlights include all of the above plus a designated account manager, dedicated front-of-the-line technical support number, free NFR product, evaluation licenses, assignment of leads and generous credit limits.

Both partnership levels also feature zero charges for software maintenance and updates, access to Avira’s members-only PartnerNet website portal and Partner Academy training, and a $10 per user per year fixed cost on Avira Professional Security.

And that’s the roundup for this week. Mosey on back next week for the latest partner news. Until then, stay safe.
