Channel Partner Program Roundup: BitTitan, F5 Networks, Cradlepoint

Happy Thursday, Roundup Rangers! This week we’ve got the latest updates from our friends at BitTitan, F5 Networks (FFIV) and Cradlepoint, so settle in and let’s get started.

BitTitan: Cloud enablement provider BitTitan recently announced the launch of Health Check for DeploymentPro, a new cloud-based solution for automated desktop management. The new feature for DeploymentPro is expected to complement its Microsoft Outlook configuration solution by allowing both partners and IT staff to instantly diagnose what technology enhancements need to be completed before migrating to Office 365.

By helping users understand which components need to be upgraded before switching to Office 365, BitTitan expects to eliminate downtime and productivity loss while helping partners increase sales and service opportunities by offering the tools and solutions necessary for successful deployment, according to the announcement. No official launch date for Health Check has been released.

“Moving to the cloud doesn’t need to be a daunting and complex task. Instead, it can be an opportunity to maximize profits and productivity,” said Geeman Yip, CEO and founder of BitTitan, in a statement. “With Health Check for DeploymentPro, we are putting partners in a position of knowledge and eliminating the investigative legwork they’d typically need to do on site, while assuring companies’ cloud projects run smoothly.”

F5 Networks: F5 Networks is one of the first companies to join the new Amazon Web Service Marketplace Consulting Partner program, which provides customers with a selection of pre-approved partners for selected software vendors with listings in AWS Marketplace. The program is expected to help customers more easily find partners who work with F5 and distribute through the AWS Marketplace for their cloud migrations solutions.

F5 Customers can use a filtering option within AWS Marketplace to identify which resources they can use to manage applications on the AWS Cloud, with the option to obtain system integrator contact information for the buyer so they can start the referral process, according to the announcement.

“F5 and AWS are great options for customers leveraging the benefits of moving their applications to the cloud. The AWS Marketplace Consulting Partner program takes this to the next level by facilitating connections between customers and pre-vetted partners of both F5 and AWS,” said Brian Pickering, regional vice president of Cloud Sales at F5. “Customers know they’re being referred to a partner who has the necessary skills to deploy, configure and optimize F5 for an AWS environment. This program also gives our partners a direct connection for expanding their cloud business on AWS.”

Cradlepoint: Cloud-managed 4G LTE networking solutions provider Cradlepoint announced several new executive hires to its sales leadership team, including Dan DesRosiers as vice president of Sales West, Jeff Manning as vice president of Sales East and Ed Walton as vice president of Channel and Alliances. Each is responsible for increasing revenue and market share growth for the company.

DesRosiers has more than 15 years of sales experience and has worked for companies including Aruba Networks, ThruPoint and Cisco Systems. Manning brings with him experience at Riverbed, Zscaler, Motorola and others, with Walton bringing leadership experience from Avaya and Nortel to his new position.

“We are at an exciting point in Cradlepoint’s growth right now. We are continuing to see increased expansion across industries and our sales team has had a large role in that success,” said Ryan Adamson, chief revenue officer at Cradlepoint. “We are happy to have Dan, Jeff and Ed as new leadership for our sales and channel division. Their fresh perspectives and experience in leading successful sales programs for growing technology companies will be key to the continued success of our customers.”

That’s all for now folks. Thanks for stopping by, and we’ll see you back here with more channel partner news next week. Until then, stay safe out there.
